Over the years I’ve noticed a pattern.

The leaders who feel most unsettled by promotion are rarely unprepared. They are usually the capable, steady people who have earned trust.

Then the role changes. Technical depth gives way to influence. Visibility increases. Decisions carry more weight. You move from delivering outcomes to shaping direction. From working within a team to working across silos.

Nothing is fundamentally wrong. But influence has not yet caught up with responsibility.

​Before becoming a full-time coach, I spent two decades in senior leadership and executive roles, including serving as a board member and, later, chairman. Since then, I have coached leaders globally across several industries, including banking, healthcare, financial services, mining, retail, property and professional services.

​

My work is not about changing personality or adding techniques. It is about expanding leadership capacity — in thinking, in presence and in range. Grounded in my Integral Master Coach training and leadership development coaching refined over 25 years, my approach integrates whole-person growth with practical organisational impact.

When that growth takes place, influence begins to match responsibility — and organisations feel the difference in employee engagement, team development and on the bottom line.

Alongside my human coaching, organisations can also make use of my AI coaching partners. Trained by me in my way, they extend reflective support into the moments leadership actually happens — before difficult conversations, after tough meetings, when decisions carry weight. They do not replace my human relationship; they deepen it.
